If you do check your domain name and find that it has already gone do not be surprised- just be a little inventive in your choice. Experiment with adding hyphens between words or changing the word order. Can you think of a suitable synonym for a word you wanted to use? Is it possible that using a different extension would be OK for you.

It could be that combining the company name with a word describing your goods or services, like wilson-widgets.co.uk, will give you a more google-friendly domain name.

You might be able to purchase the one you really want. Try entering the full name in your browser address bar - it may just lead to a page where the name is up for sale.

Because there are millions of domain names regstered you may need to use your creativity to find a unique one that suits your purposes - if so take your time and see what sort of name comes up when you use a search engine such as google or bing to find your goods or services in your area.
